Working in government I learned that 99.99% of compliance is people thinking it’s the right thing to do or being afraid to break the law. Here, the government is threatening to prosecute masses of people for 100% lawful acts, but can only harass a teeny tiny fraction. So do it and don’t be scared!
Let me reiterate: THEY DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH GUYS TO PERSECUTE LARGE NUMBERS OF DISSENTERS. What they are doing, instead, is using fear and paranoia as a force multiplier: they don’t have to persecute us if we keep ourselves home because someone told us we can’t walk in public without being terrified.

Trump’s deployments of troops to US cities cost taxpayers $496 million. "Over the second half of 2025, the Trump admin. deployed the National Guard [or] Marines to six US cities: Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Memphis, Portland Oregon, Chicago, and New Orleans." breakingdefense.com/2026/01/nati...
National Guard deployments to US cities cost almost half a billion dollars, says CBO - Breaking Defense
The Trump administration has already spent nearly $500 million on domestic National Guard deployments, with monthly costs being further broken down by the CBO.

Corporations will not exploit working people in NYC.

Uber Eats, Fantuan & HungryPanda broke the law — shortchanging workers while raking in profits.

Today, we secured $5M+ in restitution for 49,000 delivery workers.

Let this be a warning: steal wages, face the consequences.

There have been many journalists arrested in the US before. I'm one of them.

This is still very different. Lemon wasn't arrested as part of a mass of arrests of people surrounding a protest as it was happening and released (as I was). Lemon is being re-arrested for having covered a protest.
The arrests of journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort are a test for every MSM member with a platform. If you are not voicing your outrage at this blatant violation of the First Amendment, you are utterly discredited as a journalist.

Citing fear of ICE, pregnant immigrants in Minnesota are

-skipping prenatal care
-requesting home births, even when not medically advised
-going w/o adequate food

Many are experiencing complications providers say can be stress-onset: diabetes, high blood pressure, and even water breaking early
Fear of ICE is keeping pregnant immigrants in Minnesota from critical care
Health care providers in Minnesota said pregnant patients are having more complications linked to stress. But fear of immigration agents is keeping them from prenatal care.

Please don't put in the paper that I specifically asked to go to the wildest party hosted by the worlds most famous pedophile
OK, so Musk was planning to go to Epstein's island, but it's not like he went there with the intent to go to a wild party or something, it was probably just some business. Excuse me, an email just came in.

Among other demands for lawmakers to make is that Palantir and every executive be blacklisted from ever working with the government forever
There was, in MN, a palpable, constant sense of fear that could even feel like paranoia from people engaged in civil resistance. Here’s why:

Honestly, I do not think I have seen a more glaring example of media failure in this moment than this. To splash this headline across the front page—as if it is true—and then barely contextualize it in a font that is like 1/2Oth its size would be a joke if it weren’t dangerous propaganda.
