I feel resentful of these governors like Walz and Pritzker when they ask citizens to do this risky work against federal agents but then let their own state police and municipal cops arrest, beat and jail their citizens while doing this risky work they’ve been asked to do

I'm not going to give them more air by quoting them, but people acting like unemployed ICE agents would present a problem when dismantling ICE fail to consider that giving them guns and apparently complete impunity to enact violence is not actually the best thing to do with racist meatheads.

It’s worth considering that an overnight dismantling of ICE in 2029 would release into the wild a whole herd of specialists in violence with scant other marketable skills.

not sure if this counts as a skill or whatever, but i'm sincere about my love for art and i believe in its power to transform us. i'm proud when that sincerity shows in my work, even when people consider it "cringe" or naïve. i've got convictions. i only make things i actually believe in.

I wish there was a word for this, like some sort of term for when you’re hypersensitive to certain textures and sensations or shapes or concepts and struggle to deal with them to the point where you have reactions that manifest as behavioral issues or breakdowns.
