Wilhoit's Law isn't just astute, it offers the bedrock of a far clearer understanding of *all* politics if one just drops the bullshit left/right spatial metaphor of a "spectrum" and replaces it with that in/out distinction: a centre of power & privilege; its fash cops; the Abject excluded from it.
