The DOJ had the power to investigate DeJoy for his needless destruction of government property and blatant attempts at election interference and disenfranchisement.

Much like with Trump there was a option to throw the fucker in jail. He wasn't being subtle. Dems made a choice to ignore the crimes.

I hate how it was destroyed by DeJoy. I went last week to mail my step-dad’s gift, and the USPS clerk said Express wasn’t guaranteed, and priority would take about a week. 🤬

As of 12/24/25, USPS changed policy on when they postmark mail. Mail dropped off is no longer guaranteed a same-day postmark. Tax returns & other time-sensitive items are now stamped when they reach a regional processing center, which may be days later. Plan deadlines accordingly to avoid penalties.

Okay. Since I posted this yesterday, so many people have tried to convince me that we "won" against crypto and it's dead. Because they don't hear about it anymore. I really need y'all to pay attention. Crypto is still huge. Not only is it not dead, it continues to cause massive harm.
DEI is banned. Cryptocurrency is still around and has largely succeeded at perpetuating the largest siphoning of wealth I think I'll ever see in my lifetime. Cops are still killing Black people, and now they get to kidnap everybody else too.

Wrote about how disappointing it is that Jon Stewart punched down on people masking at @motherjones.com, when people should mind their own business and leave mask wearers be. www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

I mean you’ve really gotta wonder why the Trump DOJ was collecting travel information about a reporter who helped blow the lid off the Epstein coverup in Florida.

Or maybe we don’t have to wonder at all.

Julie K. Brown is a reporter for the Miami Herald who did groundbreaking work on Epstein beginning in 2018, including groundbreaking work on the disgusting coverup by Alex Acosta.

Her travel itinerary was released with some of the Epstein files. It appears the DOJ was monitoring her in 2019.

USPS quietly changed its postmark rules — mail is no longer dated when you drop it off. The “official” date is when it hits automated sorting — sometimes days later

Which could have major implications for mail in voting — it’s a clever way to disenfranchise voters that’s going largely overlooked

This is why "waiting to see if it gets worse" is a problem.

Viral replication is exponential. By the time you feel "sick enough" to go to urgent care, you may have missed the window to keep that curve small.

Test fast. Treat fast. Deny the virus that AUC.

Flu antivirals don't kill the virus—they stop it from replicating. That's why the "take within 48 hours" guidance isn't arbitrary: every hour you wait means more virus for your body to deal with. Here's how to test at home and get treatment fast ⤵

As a reminder: Even if I didn't consider using genAI environmentally destructive, creatively bankrupt, and morally indefensible (which I do), courts ruled it is *not subject to copyright.* If someone, theoretically, published a genAI title, and it popped off? There is no defending ownership of it.
