My family has been without half our income for 40 days. It has been.. very hard.

I agree 100% with what this author is saying. Using AI for anything critical at this point in time is irresponsible, the consequences infinitely unpredictable. Critical AI needs way more than a “human in the loop“ and “red teaming” to be considered safe or meet any reasonable standard of due care.
