That’s a load-bearing “if”
If car companies were smart, they would make 1 low cost car in their lineup, and keep the design for at least 5 years to lower costs. We are rapidly transferring people into poverty. A $5000 car with a good design and low cost replacement parts would be a huge assist to the poor.

Here in Massachusetts, you can do this via LUCE: www.lucemass.org
an organization in the Twin Cities is offering "ICE Watch" training

The training provided by States at the Core, or STAC, prepares neighbors to monitor, document, and fight against ICE activity. The organization says it has trained more than 1,000 Minnesotans so far

Training teaches ICE observers how to document immigration enforcement activities in Minnesota
As Minnesota’s Somali communities deal with the threat from increased ICE enforcement in the state, some citizens have decided to monitor ICE agents. A training program from States at the Core, or STA...

In the summer, I ride with combat gloves. They provide excellent grip and protection from road hazards.
They're also useful for making my presence known on two wheels.
Remember Jonathan E’s gloves in the original Rollerball?

it’s fun watching people see what trans folks have been warning of for years. the media has no capacity to inform about the politicization of health care
News media has to do better with headlines that present false and unverified public health claims.

I’m not really on board with Men’s Day. We’re the center of the world most other days.
But that doesn’t mean we’re without our own problems and this meme is really, really good.
Today is the day to repost this meme about International Men's Day, one of the most unironically wholesome memes that has ever been made.

Shoutout to all my fellow champs, chiefs, and kings. ✊
