I used to make sure your images were in focus. Now I just tinker and teach your college student how to keep things in focus.
I show my son the Short Circuit movies. He becomes obsessed. He gets a knockoff LEGO version of Johnny 5 that moves via remote control and spends 2 straight days building it. He finishes 3 minutes before bedtime and it immediately falls apart. He wants to start rebuilding it from scratch.

It's only a 30-second promo but here it is if you didn't get a chance to see it.

Traveling the world, talking about places to people who have never been there, smoking weed before it was cool, and being an absolute human. Damn fine life's work, Mr. Steves.
It’s the “season of love and giving”…but this year, doesn’t it seem more like a “season of fear and taking”? Like many of you, I’ve been saddened by the human impact of draconian government budget cuts and how angry many housed Americans are at unhoused Americans.

The name "Popular Science" doesn't mean we shift our coverage depending on public opinion. It means we cover relevant subjects that are rigorously researched, reliable, and grounded in reality.

And trans lives are grounded in reality.

We see y'all. No matter what.

Nenko Gantchev should still be alive—home with his family. After 30 years contributing to Chicagoland as a small business owner and taxpayer, ICE detained him, ignored his medical needs, and he died in custody. This system is cruel, reckless, and must be held accountable.
