Wow, that change of title says an awful lot. Implying that the talk is simply an objective, fairly dry talk, when actually it’s a massively ideological polemic.

There is a reason people observe that Jo Phoenix and Alice Sullivan are “like the racist uncle at the Christmas dinner table”.
can i just say

this IDENTICAL argument is made by TERFs, that trans women counting as women end up perverting things like the census, or hiring quotas, in some way.

it's the same logic.

it's the fascist logic.

..which is also, in its way, a knowing lie.

If civil servants joining pride marches is seen as "political" then surely all those "SEEN in..." groups dedicated to harassing trans people in whatever sector are even more political? You can't have it both ways Kathleen
Supporting LGBT+ rights is political in a way that breaches the civil service code and opposing them is not political in a way that precludes charitable status is a... complex position to hold, although one managed by former LGBA hate group with charitable status trustee Kathleen Stock.

Alice Sullivan tells universities to suppress pro-trans research to protect GC staff. However, HER OWN DATA shows pro-trans research is already more suppressed.

When I told the BBC this, they edited out any reference to the data. They have now corrected the record.

The reality, of course, is that there's nothing innately political about being LGBTQ+, or about gathering together with other LGBTQ+ people; Pride only exists as a political entity in response to the expectation of shame, to the mistreatment we receive from others because we are _politicised_.

From my referral in 2018 to my surgery this year, I had a total of FIVE diagnoses of Gender Dysphoria. These were just to progress to each step.
And my GIC even refused to accept a diagnosis from one of their own consultants, because it had been done in a private capacity for my GRC application.
