Trying to recall a late 70s/80s TV movie: young couple move into an apartment and are haunted by glimpses of an old couple and the reoccurring image of the woman drowned in the bath. They sell the apartment and then see the new inhabitants! It wasn't a haunting but a premonition! Any ideas?

Ken Clarke: '“John Major used to talk about feeding crocodiles. He would say if you keep making too many concessions to people it’s like feeding them buns and the problem comes when you run out of buns.”'
This is Labour's core problem here. The right will never allow Starmer a win on immigration because the issue is central to their appeal and therey' daren't lose it. So whatever he does will never be enough.

Section 28 didn’t come out of nowhere.
It came from a society where 75% thought homosexuality was wrong.
From a society that feared the sight of a man in drag would corrupt.
From a society that believed ignorance was better for children than any knowledge of gay lives.
