Like every teenage boy who grew up with a shared computer, I got caught looking at porno. I'll always remember that my dad wasn't mad, but wanted me to know that it was not real sex. It was a performance, and I didn't understand how important that distinction was until I was much older.
One thing I’ve observed (especially on Twitter) is how many young men think porn is real and thus think every woman fucks hundreds of men a year before getting some “beta” to marry them. Like, absolutely convinced every woman is just fucking everyone they see.

This is the type of thing that poorly run private companies are doing on a smaller scale constantly and a great example of why “we gotta run government like a business” is a grade-A dumb guy’s idea of what a smart guy thinks

Here’s the thing about the tariffs: there will be no “short term pain”. Only long term. Every time a company realizes they can get away with charging you extra they don’t ever lower the price again. They just gouge. Whatever price hikes there are will be here for good.
