One of the conspirators who helped Gavrilo Princip shoot Archduke Franz Ferdinand survived to see the breakup of Yugoslavia. He could conceivably have watched the Neighbours episode where Scott and Charlene got married

I was explaining to my Ukrainian colleague the phrase ‘There’s no such thing as a free lunch’. She told me the equivalent in Ukrainian is ‘The only free cheese is in the mousetrap’ - which is so much better

"Do you want America to be at war with Iran?"

Relatedly, if you haven't been in an archives you have no idea just how much historical material is not online, not even a digital record of it. An LLM cannot research data it doesn't have. It can't even extrapolate where to find that material.

We can now be pretty sure who it was that assembled and wrote most of Great Domesday. That man was Gerard, chancellor of England, cantor of Winchester Cathedral, nephew of Bishop Wakelin: liturgist and singer as well as scribe and administrator. What a time to be a medievalist!

“big balls” is trending but apparently it has nothing to do with Paris sewers of the 1870s which is unfortunate
Big balls were used to clear sewers of the 1870s
Yes, cleaning sewers in Paris literally required rolling giant spheres of wood and iron through the tunnel.
