If the stakes weren’t so high would be almost cute when people think that Netanyahu (!) or Hamas or Arab leaders agreeing to the Trump peace plan actually meant they had agreed to it as opposed to setting the terms of the next round of bargaining and pointing out to spoilers what they need to do.

Omg students don’t come to class and don’t do the readings, that’s never happened before in college. This generational crisis requires, nay demands, blatantly unconstitutional federal pressure and extortion of not just Harvard but everyone, everyone!

I think most normal people just don’t really understand what a dangerous lunatic Stephen Miller is, what extreme outcomes he wants, or how totally this unelected freak controls policy while Trump rambles and preens.

One thing to understand about what's happening now is that on Oct 1, the deportation machine's budget increased dramatically: $170 billion in NEW funding, averaging to $42.5 billion per year. That's just below the Israeli military's annual budget. It's the equivalent of 13th biggest army on earth.

ICE admits that up to 50% of arrests in its Chicago raids are "collateral.” These aren't statistics. They are parents taken from their children, neighbors taken from our communities. When does a "collateral" U.S. citizen child's trauma matter? This isn't law enforcement; it's a campaign of terror.

Hamas’ statement is not acceptance of the new Trump plan. It’s an agreement to end the war & reach terms of agreement “upon further negotiations”. The momentum created by the Trump/Arab States meeting in NY has largely dissipated through Netanyahu’s efforts. I don’t think we’re going to get a deal.
