Not sure about diy but as an acrylic marker lover I do think you can get a lot of way better quality markers for much less (I love posca for their shape and vibe but they suck for drawing on paper and dry out so so quickly)

her crime is literally just that she's transgender and nothing else.

she has been sentenced to years is prison for being transgender in a a country which has, for about half of her entire life, been harassing and abusing transgender people daily in the press and politics.

That's the UK right now.

Felt. So much of manhood and masculinity itself imo is built around heterosexuality/gendered performance "for"/surrounding attraction to women. And I feel like a lot of people don't realize that trans people r still beholden to these pressures/forces

And then, similar to trans women and gay men, there's the cultural idea of trans men and lesbianism being linked - but (theorizing here) maybe because that link is less exploitable by patriarchy it isn't as present as the link between straight trans woman and gay man ?

Wrt the idea of legibility I feel like in a way trans men/transmascs have little to no cultural legibility and that's something we often struggle with (talks of transmasc invisibility)

Muxes identify with lo femenino or
what is feminine and many dress in traditional female attire, but they are not gen-
erally seeking to be transgender, or to be accepted as women.

The gay men I interviewed were even more emphatic and quick to differentiate
themselves from muxes. Mario, an articulate twenty-four-year-old gay man, for
example, said that
For me a muxe is a man who identifies as a woman and likes to dress like a woman. I
am not muxe. I am gay because I have never wanted to dress like a woman or to be one.
They work in female trades. I know I am a man.

I can say, at least in my exp, mothers act as a form of "social controller" in a way fathers do not. They're the ones worrying about the "image" of having a transgender child

This is the lowest number ever found in surveys asking similar questions.

So far as I'm aware, there is neither physical evidence nor testimony suggesting Ed Gein ever had any kind of fixation on or interest in Christine Jorgensen, nor to suggest Gein actually cross-dressed. I think to invent these elements for the purpose of fiction is at best ignorant and reckless.
