I really really want a wave of all new writers on the X-Men comics. I just don't like most of what's coming out. I keep giving them chances and regretting it. Good character moments sneak in here and there, but the Krakoan era was rolling in them. It felt like the writers were passionate back then.

Dear President Obama,
I saw in your statement you said "Israeli families" & "the people of Gaza."
Palestinians have families, too.
This kind of language contributes to dehumanization. Dehumanization is part of what caused so many to stay silent as 20,000 children were killed in this genocide.
I've sat with wonderful Palestinian families from Gaza. They look at their children just like we look at ours - with all the love & hope in the world.

Again respectfully, I’d say no. If you really like it, argue that it’s good. Make the case for your experience. Critics, stop saying “some of my favorite games are 7/10s” and give THOSE games 9s or 10s. Stop deferring to notions of faux-objectivity and champion the things you actually really like.

practice thinking from the perspective of other ppl. consider where they're coming from, why a piece might resonate w them.

this will help you differentiate between "not for me" and "it isn't good". be kind with the former, don't fear the latter!
