Folks, it took a lot of hard work but I'm finally on the payroll! Feel blessed 🙏

Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Zohran Mamdani are all going to out-live Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Peter Theil, Bill Ackman, and most of the other oligarchs who have looted our political system for their gain.

And so are most of us.

Plan big.

Organize even bigger.

the frey boys on reddit are going hard in on "Fateh is transphobic and homophobic" today in a last ditch effort to persuade undecideds to go Frey

Frey ran away from me at a literal pride parade

Dick Cheney would rather die than endorse Andrew Cuomo.
The Frey campaign and his super PACs tried to Emily Koski to drop out after labelling her "DSA aligned." And it worked!

Fun fact: Dick Cheney held the same position under Gerald Ford that Stephen Miller holds under Trump right now: deputy chief of staff.

ilhan omar says at the omar fateh door knock that PACs are coming after robin wonsley so hard because she fights for people who deserve fighting for, saying f you to predatory landlords and greedy corporations and developers because she knows who she represents & why she’s at city hall

ilhan omar touts omar fateh’s work with the north star promise in making college possible for minneapolis kids who couldn’t otherwise afford it. says we can trust him to show up. we have seen too many broken promises and vetoes, and it’s time we get a leader who keeps his word

It's not in this article but the government asserts that the sandwich was thrown at "point blank range", which implies subway sandwiches have defined effective weapon ranges of varying lethality, and I would like to see the government's chart of these ranges.

This is literally happening, Shapiro and Carlson, 2 of biggest names in the right, are going to war over how Nazi they should be, and we have to read pundits telling us to tack to the center.
Center of what, exactly?
We need to create our own center, not get sucked in by theirs
If (knock on wood) Dems sweep Tuesday’s elections handily, can we ease discourse away from its obsession over whether Dems are too left wing to win, and take greater notice of the fact that Republicans are in a civil war over whether to be Nazis or merely lesser fascists?
Exploit The GOP's Nazi Meltdown
Are we really going to accept the conceit that the central issue in politics is whether DEMOCRATS are too extreme?

It's election season in St Paul. Every few years the whole town gets together to debate the pressing political questions of our time -- Is a small business an autonomous nation? Do garbage cans have rights? If I'm rich enough, do I own the street in front of my house?

[smiles coyly] "Do go on."
Johnson: "If they had no filibuster, they would pack the SCOTUS. You'd go from 9 to 17 or however many liberals they could pack. You would make DC & Puerto Rico into states, which would give 4 additional Democrat senators & make us a permanent minority. You'd see massive restrictions of 2A rights"
Whoops they must have spent all their money on Super PACs to keep the same mayor.

I’m asking everyone to vote for a new Mayor by Tuesday and rank all 3 of Omar Fateh, Dewayne Davis, and Jazz Hampton in whichever order you prefer. I’ve worked at City Hall for the last 4 years and from my personal experiences I believe the City desperately needs a new mayor.

Long thread 🧵

After eight years as mayor of the largest city in the state, Jacob Frey has exactly 0 endorsements from state legislators.

Mayor Frey’s inability to work with people at the state and county is holding Minneapolis back and Minneapolis residents are paying the price.

The authentic Minneapolis way to end this is with an election eve press conference where Brian O'Hara, in uniform, pledges to stay if we vote correctly — then leaves us anyway a month later.
I don't think he doesn't understand it, I think he's just a corrupt class traitor. I mean, fuck poor people, right?
