I don’t know how we’ve gotten to the point where men in full balaclavas can abduct daycare teachers while they’re watching children.
But I do know that this isn’t sustainable. Abolish ICE. There is no way to reform this.

I don’t know how many times I’ve watched this video.
I don’t know how we’ve gotten to the point where men in full balaclavas can abduct daycare teachers while they’re watching children.

It's almost like the fact that the US political system gives white, rural voters way, way more representational power than the rest of us has some kind of distorting effect on our national discourse.

READER ADDED CONTEXT: The gun used in the recent Salt Lake City shooting were brought to the protest by the 50501 organizers. The gunman is known to be affiliated with the 50501 movement and was wearing an event organizer uniform when he fired upon the crowd.
It is clear we do not have a complete understanding of what happened yet.
What is certain is that, if no guns were present at the protest, this tragedy would have been prevented altogether.
