Black History Month is also about how Black families have always protected one another, even when systems were built to do the opposite.

This month, we’re naming harm and honoring the care, resistance, and love that has always existed.

Support over surveillance. Always.

Reminder that years ago it was found out that the FBI straight up made up a whole bunch of fake forensic sciences, plural. People have gone to jail and been executed due to literally pseudoscience.

Hair forensics, for instance, is totally nonsense.

They admitted it.

one day we are going to get past these kind of winky "people who do the kind of manual labour that makes the world move forward are beneath me and a joke" bits from people who would die if tasked with driving a forklift.
Jelly Roll is basically just Adele for men who are forklift certified.

Friends, please share this as widely as you're sharing posts about abuses occurring in other arms of policing. Kids belong with their families and communities and deserve to grow up free of fear.
The same structures that separate families through incarceration and ICE are connected to the #FamilyPolicingSystem. The whole carceral web needs to be dismantled for our communities to be safe and whole. #AbolishICE #Abolition

Children will die. People will die. Specifically this will impact marginalized communities the most. The privileged will remain protected since they can afford to pay for healthcare.

Black History is American History.

Republican extremists want to whitewash our struggle, our journey and our substantial contributions to the nation.

We will never let that happen.

You can test new tech ideas using the Seinfeld Test

Would the product eliminate the plot of an episode? (Google maps, cell phones, paypal, battery packs)

Good tech.

Would the product inspire new Seinfeld plots? (NFTs, AI chatbots, crypto currency, blindboxes, metaverse land sales)

Bad tech.

“Jury nullification” is one way through a corrupt judiciary.
ProTip. "Jury nullification" is when a jury returns a not guilty verdict, even when they know defendant is guilty.

Takes just 1 juror to reject evidence or refuse to apply law b/c the "required" result conflicts w/their sense of justice.

Not guilty verdicts are permanent; jurors can't be punished.
