I've read about this kind of digital-life-destroying account cancellation before, but all the other cases I can recall involved (wrongly) suspected CSAM. Apple did this over a $500 Apple gift card that some system flagged somehow when he tried to use it to pay for his iCloud storage?

I understand there’s talk of his decline. In general we don’t get involved in that. But something is wrong here. I’m serious. He’s very good at the camera. He was. He was always very conscious of the camera. 25 years ago he’d never do this. Five years ago he wouldn’t.

honestly, if i were trying to design a place for the political opposition to take a stand against trump, i couldn't have done better than abrego garcia. by trying to destroy basic constitutional protections, it was *trump* who made this a dispute over due process and the Constitution.
