Once again: people are angry for very good reason, and this brand of post is perhaps one of the most tedious and bewildering. Practically every social media platform is rabidly pro-‘AI’ so are govts, academia, companies. This one small space being critical of AI is okay, I think.

Still, the vacuum of space is not as uncomfortable as the Danny Stevens/Karen Baldwin storyline on For All Mankind.

I think the greatest gift college professors in the humanities can give to students right now is a seminar room where, for 80 minutes twice a week, nothing that happens to them is a sales pitch for an AI product.

“Do not take Xelzympta if you are allergic to Xelzympta” well no shit, Sharon

Why is this a thing in every drug ad? If you know you’re allergic to something, you don’t consume it. What am I missing here? Is this another one of those “don’t use hairdryer in bathtub” CYA things?

It should be illuminating that prosecuting sex trafficking, the thing that prosecutors and police across the country have been using as a cash cow to fund surveillance and weaponry, is actually not something government prosecutors care about at all.
The system does not hold people accountable.

They say, if we couldn't go no contact with our kids raising them, why can they go no contact with us? That attitude is why your kids don't like you. You should've raised them because you brought them into the world & loving them would be nice. People can free themselves from those who hurt them.
Boomers are having major backlash to grown kids going no contact with their parents. They really think a parent has ownership over causing their kid suffering for life. They really think they can force someone to be around them when it makes them miserable due to filial obligations.

I just kinda stopped doing my day job at this point but etsy keeps us afloat! 🤣💓

I’m asking ICE to curl up and die like a salted slug.

I’m asking for everyone who directed them to spend the rest of their natural lives in prison.

And I’m asking for every quisling Democrat to walk the earth with ceaseless and unavoidable scorn.

Those are my demands.
Our DHS reform demands are exceedingly reasonable.

We're asking ICE to do nothing more than follow the standards that the vast majority of law enforcement agencies already follow.

Republicans, the ball is in your court. The clock is ticking.

But WaPo illegally fired me, so.

Here we are.
You can't expect the country's (formerly) most-respected newspaper to have both someone who understands Spanish (PR dialect) *and* someone who knows their Caribbean history, can you? 🌴🤣

Analysis: Weeks before he set foot on the stage, Bad Bunny’s halftime performance had already become a media event.

But if you were looking for political commentary, the closest that you got was when he said “God bless America” in English.
Analysis | Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show was expected to provoke. Did it?
The Bad Bunny Super Bowl show nodded to injustices in Puerto Rico but mostly evoked wholesome family values that meshed with the more sentimental commercials.
