As soon as homeboy says “We are taking this flight over for Jesus” and stands up with his guitar, I’m smashing that stewardess button so hard.

I know from a fair bit of experience that these in-your-face guitar proselytizers are smug, insufferable twerps who haven’t been told “No” enough times.
This Guy Sang Christian Worship Songs Mid-Flight, and People Are Fuming
The Singaporean strummed his guitar as he belted out a worship song on an EasyJet flight out of Poland, where he was volunteering with Ukrainian refugees.

Writing about "internet culture" means ricocheting between the most serious topics imaginable and whatever weird shit the kids are doing on TikTok this week. The mental whiplash will someday make me go viral myself as my mind fully unravels, completing the madness loop and ending my cursed existence

Revolutionary optimism is the disciplined confidence that because trans lives are forced to invent ways of surviving capitalism, we also possess the skills needed to abolish it.

Despair only serves existing power structures.

I get what you're saying and you're right, but in a deeper, sinister way, this article is very political.

Listen to how this woman speaks about her kids, consider the way conservatives tend to treat their kids, and remember who owns the Wall Street Journal.

I could pitch quite the article about the trend of calling going no contact a trend, but also the idea of cold pitching again makes me want to slip into a coma.

If having actual principles means people like this will mock me, well, I can't imagine giving a fuck.

Why would I ever care about the opinions of someone who can only conceive of people's lives and well being in terms of political games? If you're that dead inside, you're dead to me.

For over a month, @sbworkersunited.org has been on strike for a union contract.

We stand with these workers. Starbucks needs to bargain in good faith and finally reach a first contract with baristas.
We're back! Baristas on ULP strike have once again brought the picket line to Starbucks's biggest regional distribution center in York, PA.

We're making sure that Starbucks hears us: we need finalized contracts, an end to union-busting, and resolution to all outstanding unfair labor practices.

The baby would die, obviously. These people are very normal.
The Indiana GOP is literally crying lmao

"Sen. Greg Walker (R-Columbus), who had already announced his opposition to redistricting, began to cry as he recounted holding a baby and wondering what would happen if Republicans folded to intimidation on the issue."

People keep wondering why they're going after Venezuela. It's because they want to do regime change and control its oil, then use a big tract of land there to keep a tax free "network state" that looks like Dubai but operates like Rhodesia. They are saying this out loud! Believe them!

I read something by a neurologist who specialized in migraines once and she said that by all logic, migraines should cause brain damage. Like how bumble bees shouldn't be able to fly. But with brain damage.
you can be the most reasonable, intelligent, measured person on the planet and 3 minutes of a migraine will have you looking longingly at a drill and considering whether trepanning was honestly that bad of an idea
