I have another video today! It's about old-school video projectors and how amazing they were.

Seriously, not only is it almost unbelievable that this even works, but it's doing full HD video with incredibly good image quality. It's also a royal PITA.

I had finally managed to cobble together a set list and then promptly put out another album instead of following thru on this last time. So now I need to make room for some new songs and this is just harder than it needs to be today. Procrastinate powers, activate!

Met with a pal to start sketching out a live gig or two for The Obvious Tells stuff - next step is to hand off a set list and it turns out with as much material as I have picking like ten songs is difficult. And I am not in the mood to listen to my own music without critiquing it

Anyway, got a piece of that oak board cleaned up a bit and slapped this old saw vise on it and now I can sharpen my saws without hunching. I’ll modify my home built vise at some point so I can work with larger saws and easier but this is a huge quality of life improvement

I hate cutting bone dry 9/4 oak but I love this saw. An old Disston “Victory” saw, this one commemorating the victory in WW1. Some of the saw nuts have been replaced and I hammered the plate flat and true and replaced the broken horn with a small piece of rosewood from my stash.
