I feel like the NFT crash was more rapid because people realized “duh, this is just a picture on the internet I can copy why would I pay actual money for this”

But AI has basically been anthropomorphized and also locked in to business budgets so we’ll have to deal with this stupidity for a while

The death of browsing is part of the reason art is the way it is now. Our opinions are largely fed to us by algorithms. Spending a spare 15 minutes wandering around a bookstore or comic shop or video rental place was how you found stuff you wouldn't ordinarily pick up and thereby expanded your taste
Bookselling is like the most "people go to the store and buy what looks cool to them without a particular agenda" type business left, and your purchases have a huge influence on what is ordered, what is displayed, and what is recommended.

I’m going to start making these patterns for real and leaving reviews with the link. Quit itttttttt

It's been an issue for as long as I can remember, and there is no accountability (that I've ever seen or heard about) with Calgary Transit so nothing is ever resolved or improved. A bus driver could just drive their bus home for the day and nobody would care or do anything about it. grumblegrumble.
When my daughter's Calgary Transit bus to school suddenly disappeared without explanation I wondered: am I losing my mind? (Maybe... but that's beside the point!) Turns out many Calgarians have been dealing with the same problem. #yyccc

The big question on the horizon is how the insurance industry will respond to this. Studio films need to be insured, which involves risk assessment, and getting a company to insure a film against potential sexual harassment lawsuits could make some folks unhirable, and thus their films unmakable.
