BREAKING Greg Bovino has been removed as Border Patrol "commander at large" and will return to El Centro Calif, where he is expected to retire soon. A stunning turnaround after Pretti killing. Bovino's traveling blue city crackdown is over www.theatlantic.com/politics/202...

Younger generations “have fallen out of love with Harry Potter because they have fallen out of love with the worldview the series represents,” writes Louise Perry. “Which is to say that young people have fallen out of love with liberalism.”

its kinda wild how much Lockjaw looks like Bovino despite the fact that Bovino only really becomes a national figure well after OBAA starts principal photography
Bovino is still wild to me as the most nailed on “tertiary antagonist” looking dude I have ever seen. This man is central casting for “imperial officer” in any sci fi. He is 100% the guy here to make sure the village pays its share of the tribute.

They called the National Guard into DC and they all just stood around in the heat and picked up garbage because they had nothing better to do. Do you think the Army is going to start roughing up protestors or arresting the brown people? That’s not what they’re there for.

i think we should hire the Inception guys to enter Schumer's mind palace and assassinate the Baileys, but the Baileys at least represent a theory of what is happening and why, which is better than the atheoretical attention to levels of support rather than their first derivatives among consultants.
One of the dumbest posts, if not the dumbest, of 2025 — and also one of the most damaging, in terms of curbing Dem willingness to lead public opinion on immigration. Look at where that graph is now! “ICE > MN” is impeachable by itself.
This is an actual post from Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth: Praising ICE after Alex Pretti was killed, blaming the Democratic leadership of Minnesota, and writing that ICE is greater/better than Minnesota.

He is actively demeaning the people of Minnesota just hours after Pretti was murdered.

they are sending people to Black Beach, in Equitorial Guinea, for third-country detention.
I would be very surprised if a full accounting in the future didn't reveal more than one mass grave at the detention centers. If they're behaving this way in public, what's happening out of sight must be many times more brutal.
Imagine what’s happening in the camps.
