"A ban on American citizens being deported" - that's already illegal, you mororns. What you should be demanding is that every time a US Citizen is wrongly detained by ICE, they automatically get a 1 billion dollar cash payout directly out of ICE's budget that cannot be recouped

ICE activity has not noticeably tapered off yet here and in fact this week they seem to be focused on terrorizing kids at bus stops and schools.
yes, there are no real signs of any big change in DHS activity here yet. In Chicago there really was after Bovino left and they basically ended "Midway Blitz" not so here so far.
I don’t know, declaring victory in MN seems premature. They’re still arresting people and brutalizing the community. The changes appear—so far—to be cosmetic

Dear Congress, as part of these reforms: Make it illegal for ICE to carry firearms while on duty. There is no reason for these assholes to be walking around with long guns or even pistols. They can practice their second amendment rights on their own time

One thing I found deeply moving about resistance in the Twin Cities was the universalism of loving your neighbor, the philosophy driving the opposition to the ICE/BP invasion.
