O'Hara: "There's folks that are masked, they may be kidnapping people. We have had those reports. The community should know that if you see something like that, you should call 911. Let's not forget -- we very recently had tragedy in this state by someone who was purporting to be law enforcement."

Florida DOT, like the current US DOT, is doing what it can to reverse the very feeble efforts US cities have made to dedicate road space to users other than drivers.
WOW: It appears that the Florida Department of Transportation and state Republicans used a flawed study to illegally dismantle dedicated bus lanes along a federally funded BRT project that was completed on time and under budget

FDOT study used to scrap SunRunner lane ‘incomplete,’ ‘unfair’, experts say
The dedicated bus lane on Pasadena Avenue was removed after the state said there was a rise in crashes.

Trump Administration Fires 8 Immigration Judges in New York

With tens of thousands of people in immigration detention, Trump has fired about 15% of the nation’s immigration judges. It appears they were fired for being “too lenient” i.e. exercising discretion in granting relief from deportation.

A note of caution about the new GOP vow of oversight on the murder of the two men clinging to the boat. It's good to see, but it could become a backdoor way for Rs to defuse pressure for broader scrutiny.

The entire operation is illegal. It all needs oversight. 1/

We are not at war with Venezuela, yet. The boats are civilian craft. The U.S. criminal code does not maintain a death penalty for drug smuggling. Due process is required before conviction or sentence.

All of the 80 people killed thus far are wanton murders slain under illegal orders. All of them.
