By the way, for those of you not in MN: Homan’s strategy was to withdraw some agents, so it felt like we were in the denouement of the crisis, and then escalate hard against observers. They’re being incredibly aggressive with observers now. National media may not want to check out just yet

I criticize dems

Today is a great example as to why-

Trump sends ANOTHER racist post

NOT ONE DEM PRESS CONFERENCE

Dems should be forming a BLUE WALL and saying NO MATTER WHAT maga bills go up- we WILL NOT VOTE FOR THEM until they impeach Trump

That's how the minority takes power

But... nah

JoJo is so right.. here in the UK if the PM did something so abhorrently racist they would be expelled from office same day..

The same applies in the EU.. so for supporters of Trump not to denounce him, means they to are rancid racists
The press needs to ask every single Republican if they denounce Trump’s posts depicting the Obamas as monkeys.

Don’t let them say they “didn’t see it” either.

Make them answer.

Racism has been central to Trump and his movement since he came down the escalator. He is a racist. His people are racists. His defenders are racists. His supporters are racists. His party is a party of racists. If they want to disprove that, they can. But it's important to know they don't want to.

I hope Dems begin to see that moderate or progressive, AIPAC is not our friend.

They endorse January 6th insurrectionists. Yet if you so much as suggest the US uphold its own Leahy laws, no matter your record, they will work against you.

It's not just the decision to give public money and public data to a sworn enemy of everything we stand for, appalling though that is. It's also the secrecy and illegal shutting out of any competition. What does Palantir have on Streeting and Starmer - and did Mandelson give it to them?

👀 Apparently, Ross Douthat invited Seth Harp to debate him on Douthat's "Interesting Times" NYT podcast. Harp says that the episode was recorded, Douthat got crushed, and RD/NYT decided not to publish it.

Here is a thing:

There were several years when I was one of VERY few journalists seriously covering harassment and abuse issues in comics (and by extension sometimes video games). During that time, I became the Person People Told Things To.

What a powerful performance!
On 1 May 1517, xenophobic mobs, riled up by preachers who were in turn pressured by wealthy broker John Lincoln, rioted in London. They claimed that foreigners were stealing their jobs and welfare. Thomas More, then under-sheriff of London, tried to stop the mob with an empassioned speech.

It's not enough to just say "but Obama didn't do that." Sure, it's true, but that's not how memory works. You need to tell a true story about what really happened, populate the discourse with evidence and examples that give life to a memory of the Obama era that people can picture and engage with.

Good god. We've spent a decade with the British media - including the BBC - claiming that the 'gender critical' movement wanted to 'protect women and girls'.

And it turns out Jeffrey Epstein was funding part of it.
I'm not being facetious. Epstein was apparently giving talking points to the people pushing anti trans rhetoric in the UK.
