"Cultural impact" is such a loser shit, too. You can't just enjoy stuff anymore. You got go watch a movie already wondering what memes will go viral about it afterwards.

It's just like being unable to eat withouth posting the picture of the meal on IG first.

Yelp culture in a nutshell.

Real snapshot of the economy at large
Larger businesses with 50 or more employees reported a net gain of 90,000 workers.

But companies with fewer than 50 saw a decline of about 120,000.
U.S. companies cut 32,000 workers in November.

The entire glyphosate (Roundup herbicide) saga is an appalling example of politicized science and motivated reasoning. Now key anti-Roundup papers AND key pro-Roundup papers have been retracted. Worse, I'd be willing to take odds that partisans of both sides will be completely unbothered by this.

Rare moment I have some knowledge:

Grocery stores handle distribution and logistics for manufacturers. They also send out specs for quality, price, packaging, etc for their private label products and manufacturers will compete for the contract

- Worked in CPG & supply chain
What public purpose does it serve that one supplier sells the same product to multiple companies who turn around and sell it to the public under multiple brand names.
