Stop getting seriously ill everyone!!

You can start by masking of course

Seriously, all elements of health are already stretched so there is not a lot to cut

How about we tax gas companies etc and inject funds into the system instead?
'Beyond belief': Albanese tells states to spend less on hospitals
Health ministers are furious with a letter from the prime minister demanding they rein in spending if they want a public hospital funding deal honoured.

So much gets lost in the noise and all the misdirects. But it all comes down to, the fact that those in power will do anything to keep it.

The only thing trickling down is the cruelty
Amazon announced 14,000 layoffs. Its CEO made over $40M last year.

UPS announced 48,000 layoffs. Its CEO made over $24M last year.

Intel announced 20,000 layoffs. Its new CEO's pay package is valued at nearly $69M.

This is what I mean when I say the system is rigged.

Hey #Auspol
When Massachusetts passed a "millionaires tax" in 2023, conservatives claimed the rich would flee.

But two years later, they haven't — and MA has collected $5.7B for infrastructure and public education.

A reminder that positive change can still happen at the state level.

No, Premier.

You need to direct the police to stop neo-Nazis.

And this 👇
Universities, state education, welfare system, mental health, transparency/accountability, youth justice reform…
Gambling, housing, climate, Gaza, AUKUS etc etc. The captain’s arm has ossified at the tiller as the wind blows us towards the shoals, yet any questioning is treated as mutiny and ruthlessly suppressed. I fear for the ship, crew and the slaves in the hold.

Nothing has been done to stop it happening again. And my fear is that #AusPol has become demonstrably more immoral, unethical and bought than in 1975
in 2025 the King of Australia detitled his creepy brother for being a PR liability. Not for being a sexual predator. In 1972 KCIII supported a vice regal representative sacking the lawfully elected prime minister who had confidence of the House. For implementing the platform on which he was elected.

So sad when even RACGP jump on the bandwagon of unscientific covid minimisation (yes, I know they’ve been there for ages)
Misleading framing in the headline, trying to minimise COVID-19 deaths. They carefully picked the first and only month since 2023 where that was true.

Hard to understand a govt that blocks teenagers from social media but has *no* issue with them accessing online gambling platforms at all, or with them being bombarded with ads for online gambling.
Australia’s teen social media ban has a gaming-sized loophole
The list of banned platforms requires mental gymnastics that the government has struggled to explain, and ignores where kids actually spend their time.

Could it be the breathtaking wholesale betrayal of our values, while lying about it, on a daily basis?
