I honestly wonder how many people's support is based ENTIRELY on its legality. As in, they're only "against" gay marriage (or marijuana usage, or sex work, or what have you) BECAUSE it was illegal, but once it's legalized, they're fine with it. They only are against "breaking the law" as a concept.
