If democrats should be able to get everything they want from the minority, republicans will be able to get everything they want from the minority if democrats get the majority. Like, how can this work otherwise?
I also keep saying this line of thinking, that the party in the minority does and should have the power to trample the majority and get whatever they want, has, uh, some bad implications for when we get the majority.
