A third party saying they represent a federal agency has asked the city of Newport about leasing land next to U.S. Coast Guard property at the airport for what could be a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention or operations center.

Potentially catastrophic behind-the-scenes news about the Network of the National Library of Medicine (www.nnlm.gov) shared with me today.

While some NNLM host institutions were able to float the offices while funding was paused or delayed in 2025... it is unlikely that happens again.

Wastewater jumped this week, and is now increasing in most locations. Current model forecast suggests a peak in early Sept at around 500-600k. This would imply a step down from last summer.

Being uninvited from the White House caused Rand Paul to lose a lot of the respect he had for Donald Trump that Trump’s two impeachments, insurrection, four criminal indictments, criminal conviction, and sexual abuse damages verdict did not cause him to lose. Got it.

He’s not actually charged with something that requires proof of gang membership/activity. Which suggests the following

1. We said he was MS 13
2. We have to prosecute him
3. Say he’s MS 13 in the indictment, charge him with something that doesn’t require us to prove it
