I used the same prepaid flip phone for something like 5 years? Currently on my third smartphone, I think?
Replaced the first because the battery was failing and I couldn't find another. Replaced the second because it wouldn't charge anymore, wireless charging didn't work and the USB port was shot.

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

Yesterday, we had to update a piece I reported on how delays to SNAP are impacting young people to reflect that Trump posted that he'll block funding until the shutdown ends, despite his earlier post that it would be an "honor" to fund the program...that he is legally obligated to fund.
Beshear: Let me be clear. The president has both the funding and the authority to fund snap during a shutdown. In fact, every other president in every other shutdown has done so. People going hungry in this instance is a choice that this president has made.
