I have a blog that I post to most days these days as part of my strategy for psychic survival in the last days of man on Earth": atomicrazor.blogs.com. Strictly, it's @daveon.bsky.social's and my blog, which is why it is called Atomic Razor and not Nuclear Razor

As you know I had the Rover Hondas.
Dad had the ex-Sweeney Ford Granada. That was a beast. Then a late 80s Cavellier then a Mk 4 escort.
Not great cars except for the Granada which was a beast.

OK, we literally had a "shit-brown Austin Maestro". from about 1983 to 1986. But why was it an Austin? Why wasn't it the Morris Maestro? Or, if this was still some Cowley v. Longbridge thing, the Austin Avanti?

I am listening to the Furtwängler Beethoven: Symphony No. 9 (1942)/Berlin, my favourite recording of my favourite piece. This would the disc out of the eight if could save one. It is replete with literal Nazi coughing and I am enjoying a nice red and watching a fractal deep dive

I'm watching the wee dog dozing on a patch of warm bare earth in #GardenersWorld, and it's striking me afresh how very very WEIRD it is, that humans, alone in the mammalian kingdom, live not in the water or under the ground or only in hot places, and yet are so bald they have to make clothes.

I was not consulted on these 'men don't find Sabrina Carpenter hot' claims and would like to suggest the formation of a small working group.
Something I find very funny is people periodically talking about how Sabrina Carpenter "isn't hot to men", as if heterosexual male fans are the audience her career depends on. I thought we had all understood 'women mostly dress up for themselves, or for women' but looks like we've forgotten again.
