Saw Swiss Army Man opening night with two strangers as my only company sitting in front of me.
By the end we were all audibly reacting in exuberance.
That, or seeing Cats in an empty theater with friends on a New Year's Eve.

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

Now that Clair Obscur has won awards I, a person who has never touched a JRPG before, will play it and form my entire view on the genre from that game alone.
