I feel like now would be a great moment for liberal democrats to take a clue from Minnesota’s DFL, and spend time talking with and listening to farmers (and laborers) and coming up with simple, direct, solutions to these wholly manufactured problems created by Republican policies.

I feel like now would be a great moment for liberal democrats to take a clue from Minnesota’s DFL, and spend time talking with and listening to farmers (and laborers) and coming up with simple, direct, solutions to these wholly manufactured problems created by Republican policies.
I’m really struggling with staying home post shoulder surgery while ICE is all over my neighborhood and all over the neighborhood where my husband works. I want to be on the street protesting and documenting and protecting my neighbors. But one set of handcuffs and I’d need surgery again. I hate it.

Once 8-10 years ago there was a really deep snow and Edina, where I worked didn’t cancel, they have very efficient city owned plows and their streets were clean. But since 90% of the teaching staff couldn’t afford to live in Edina we all called out. 1/2
My kids' schools won't say if they are closed until 5:45 in the morning which means I have to wake up to check to see if I don't have to wake up because the schools are closed

I’m not sure how I missed that the teacher was a trans person, but how absolutely cowardly of the University. They got played and look like fools.
People catastrophizing about a precedent where no one can mark anything down anymore for being wrong when the real precedent is trans people not being able to do literally any job without an army of bigots launching a harassment campaign against their employer.

I think this is the move! We need to articulate our core values clearly, and every Republican “gotcha” should be answered by returning to those core values.

Zohran showed up for trans people this cycle. Not just literally showing up on TDOV, but making videos about our history, acknowledging the work that's still to do, and vocalizing actual support and policies to protect us.
This needs more attention: Zohran SPLIT the straights with Cuomo. ALL of his margin was from LGBTQ+ voters. Every Dem who ever said “we should abandon the transes” needs this shoved down their fucking throat with a ramrod.

There has to be a platform that exceeds the new deal. Free healthcare, childcare, school, more jobs, lower prices, housing, climate change abatement. You guys need to run on it and not compromise to GOP talking points. It’s what young people want, a future.
