I got laid off today, with the rest of 18F.

This is an absolute trash Tuesday take, but I am 95% sure that the wealthy’s obsession with AI is to train it to replace human intelligence because in a decade or so they think most of us will be dead and they don’t want to have to learn how to take care of themselves
