Dehumanization is not a byproduct but rather a necessary component of fascism, imperialism & state violence. If the trans person, the Somali, the Palestinian, the Venezuelan or the Jew are "animals," "terrorists" and "criminals" then no slight against them is unjustifiable and no crime too great.
