These declines are MASSIVE.

And the comparative silence in media coverage is absolutely DAMNING.

“Why are ppl always so afraid of crime?”

THIS is why. When crime goes up, media trips over itself to report it.

Falls to pre-war (!!) levels? Just CRICKETS.
I count 10 cities in 2025 that are on track to have the fewest murders since at least 1970. Newark is on pace to have the fewest murders since 1956 (though only have data through Oct this year) and San Francisco is on pace to have the fewest murders since 1942.

The White House has been caught.

The administration inserted a photo of Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson, and Diana Ross into the Epstein files and falsely implied it showed them with victims.

In reality, it’s a publicly available fundraiser photo featuring Jackson and Ross’s own children.

Pretty lame, DNC🤨
BREAKING: The Democratic National Committee will NOT release its long-awaited autopsy on Trump's 2024 win. The report is completed but Dem leaders decided it could distract from their winning streak, so it will remain secret. Not good.

More deadly US boat strikes. Like the others, unambiguously illegal, immoral, and bad strategy.

The US government says these strikes were in the Pacific. Venezuela, as you can clearly see on the map, doesn't touch the Pacific Ocean. So whatever this is, it's not about Maduro and Venezuela.

Personally I just listened to Elizabeth warren give a hell of a rallying call on the Boston common - we’re happy with our leaders in Boston ✊✊
This is correct. Participation was great, engagement and bringing in new people and teaching them about movements is great, and organizers literally telling people at the end to literally go home and have brunch is… the worst. So we just have to use the good parts as raw materials.
Yes it’s an absolute truism of these protests that the protests are good and the attendees are good and the leaders are bad. Just ignore the speeches! The people know why they’re here, even if too many of the organizers often don’t really seem to regard Trump as any kind of distinct evil

This week, MAGA figures claimed Kristi Noem "stared down" violent antifa protesters in Portland. Turns out they were talking mostly about a guy in a chicken suit.

This episode opens a window into how MAGA propaganda works and MSM failure to handle it. 1/

MAGA Implodes over Kristi Noem’s “Stare Down” with Man in Chicken Suit
A good New York Times piece on Portland nevertheless demonstrates how the conventions of objective reporting fail to accurately capture the bad faith driving pro-Trump propaganda.
