The CBS 60 Minutes Doc confirms what we knew: The U.S. is currently using our tax dollars to imprison brown people with no criminal record in torture camps overseas.

It’s no wonder administration shill Bari Weiss pulled this off the air: www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjY7...

Yes, and also, leave X if you have not already
If I’m understanding this correctly, X is owned by a white nationalist who pays poor people of color in developing countries to pretend to be working class white Americans to scare other white Americans into being afraid poor people of color from developing countries are going to ruin America?

Today there was an attempted ICE raid in Bensonhurst & community members showed up. Even though NYPD collaborated with ICE by trying to disburse the crowd; community members stood their ground & ICE left without kidnapping a single person per the rapid response groups I'm on. We protect us!

Imagine trying to convince someone a decade ago that this sentence would be a 100% literally accurate description of the American political situation.
The attorney general and the FBI director, a manosphere podcaster bro, pulled into the situation room a member of Congress best known for getting kicked out of a Beetlejuice musical for drunkenly giving her date a handy, in order to pressure her about the president's child sex trafficking scandal.

“straight up giving the president a bar of gold” is where we’re at now on the “corruption isn’t real” scale

There’s one person squarely to blame for Trump’s corruption, authoritarianism & assault on democracy: John Roberts. He’s enabled so much of Trump’s lawlessness while somehow escaping accountability for it

This is all John Roberts’ fault
Trump owes his corrupt and abusive reign to one man.

“We’re looking out for the working class” (dems & torries alike). Not to say there aren’t many wonderful humans at many of the levels, but the country will benefit as more and more candidates like Mamdani gain widespread, nationwide popularity. Normalize politicians who’ll truly work for the people.
It's not a foolproof plan but every political debate from now on should be a Normal Guy competition. Ask them to describe grocery shopping in detail. Talk about what it's like to have a friend

Proposal itself aside, the framing of this simply as advocates telling pregnant women “no” is iffy. You’re well aware that most people don’t read past the headline, and at a cursory glance, the takeaway won’t always be “infrastructure problem,” but rather “minority advocacy group won’t compromise.”
Lawmakers, largely in red states, want to allow pregnant women to use parking spots set aside for disabled people under federal law.

Disability advocates say there isn’t enough special parking to go around. https://wapo.st/449YulL
Conservatives want to allow pregnant women to park in disabled spaces
Republican lawmakers are supporting measures that would allow pregnant women to use accessible parking spaces, drawing opposition from disability rights advocates.
