Fascists get blocked.

Every now and then, I look at the news, at the open crimes and corruption of the current administration, at the ways they are actively and intentionally making the country worse, making people's lives worse, and think, "we could just not do this."

Without accusing Abughazaleh of doing a corruption this is exactly the sort of thing we ban prophylactically to avoid corruption.

This feels like a skeet you could get a lot of use out of.
It did not "go viral". It was intentionally filmed and disseminated using a network of coordinated bots, amplified by an algorithm designed to spread this kind of content quickly. This was a harassment campaign, intended to silence everyone. Call it what it is.

A reminder that Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra’s parents emigrated here during a period when Italians were considered to be a genetically inferior and criminal-minded underclass that Stephen Miller’s racist predecessors said should be excluded from America

The ghouls who run Google (just to pick one example) aren't victims of the tides of technology and economics: they wrecked Google on purpose. They had a choice, and they made it. This is happening everywhere you look -- knowing, affirmative decisions to turn everything into shit.

jesus the Palm Beach Police really sought arrest warrants against underage Epstein victims for coming forward and cooperating, and (purported) admitting to crimes, and it caused the victims to become uncooperative with the federal investigation

If I were still teaching US History, I would gather images of the oval office over time and ask students to analyze what the decorations, including the choice of portraits, busts, etc, tells us about how a particular president understands the history of the US. 🗃️ www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

As a union man myself, I want it to be one way...but it's the other.
The history of american labor is disproportionately white unions continuously choosing racism over growing labor power
American labor reliably chooses to really fuck themselves in the future to save a few jobs today.

There's no firm burden of proof for "high crimes and misdemeanors," but it's properly closer to a preponderance of the evidence than proof beyond a reasonable doubt. It's not a criminal proceeding, nobody's life or freedom is in jeopardy. It's an employment review. Likelier than not is sufficient.

There was a time I kinda thought this but I now really do think the movie is actually about a boring guy encountering literally evil and satanic rapist murderers and deciding not to do anything about it bsky.app/profile/psga...
It clearly alludes to the devious sex elites are up to, but Eyes Wide Shut is more about a character study through Tom Cruise’s character and how that relates more broadly and sociologically in a gendered and sexual context.

I'm a millennial who grew up with early digital tech and loved it, I was a tech optimist for so long, I would in a tech-adjacent role, and what finally made me a tech critic was just watching and experiencing what these companies actually do. It is demonstrably causing a lot of real harm.

The hypercompetent evil genius is more of an action movie / comic book creation than reality. Or evil governments’ propaganda.

Did you know that Mussolini and the Italian fascists didn’t actually make the trains run on time? They just said they did, and people remember their words.

Check out the Kavanaugh FN 4; I think it's pretty clear that the Kavanaugh Stop thing has gotten to him:
