Yes on all this, but I remember there was an episode of House MD where Wilson called out House comparing himself to an autistic patient. Wilson said something along the lines that House is not autistic, just an asshole & that he's looking for an excuse as opposed to stopping his asshole behavior.
Media has utterly poisoned the understanding of being Autistic by endlessly portraying us as assholes with no empathy. Shit like Patricia Tannis and Sheldon from TBBT, and yeah I suspect House as well, shows us as a monolith of shitty behavior.

Amazingly, if you are prepared to invest in lying to your own doctor for nearly a year, they will attempt to provide treatment for the symptoms you claim to be experiencing. Shocking. Imagine she’d put half that effort into trying to repair her relationship with her estranged son.
Here we have a 53-year-old woman who is so consumed with hatred for her trans kid that she pretends to be nonbinary to show the world how quickly you can get hormones and surgery.

You’re right that “fetal personhood” / “when life begins” is the key: if a fetus is a person, my freedom of religion doesn’t allow me to harm that person, even if my religion explicitly tells me to do so. But fetal personhood is a legal status itself based (largely) in a particular religious belief.
