Hey, I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for all the empathy, compassion, and genuine kindness so many of you have so gently shared with me.

Kindness matters more than any of us know. It makes a difference. Thank you.

Walking around the jewelry store stuffing everything in a big burlap sack and loudly declaring "I can't afford these, but I want them." Then security has the nerve to drag me out of the mall because they're trying to gatekeep??? smh.
Every writer who generates a slop image for their work is a class traitor.

"I can't afford a visual artist"

So your solution is stabbing artists in the back? Stealing from them?

Furthermore, slop-generated imagery suggests slop-generated writing. That's how you're presenting yourself.

Can’t believe @johngreensbluesky.bsky.social beat me out….🫤 (kidding. This is the award no one wants to win.)
Since we began tallying school book bans in 2021, thousands of books have been targeted repeatedly – as many as 147X for @johngreensbluesky.bsky.social’s Looking for Alaska and 142 for @jodipicoult.bsky.social’s Nineteen Minutes.

The Cozy Polar Bear 🐻‍❄️

ink, watercolor, acryla gouache
the original painting is 3x3 inches

Another cozy animal reading indoors! Dreaming of far away places...

These small paintings I share are all commissions I've done for patrons in my Tiny Collector Tier.

My advice: Like what you like and don't worry about anyone who tells you it's cringe. Life's short and the world's on fire, and as long as you're not hurting other people, you're fine. I mean, I still like U2, too! I don't care who knows it. If other people don't like that, that's a them problem.
I love U2. I feel like I could have glided along, enjoying them, if it wasn’t for that damned internet. Now I am on the defensive or lying low with my fandom. That’s happening somewhat now with Taylor Swift. She’s the biggest star in the world but the backlash has begun. “Mom pop”?

Here are the 28 Dem Senators who voted to advance the first federal ban on trans athletes & a federal definition of sex that would make trans & intersex people non-existent: Angela Alsobrooks (MD), Tammy Baldwin (WI), Richard Blumenthal (CT), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE), Chris Coons (DE), ->
By a vote of 76-23, S 1071 passes the motion to proceed to the motion to concur. Won't know who voted for this until the roll call is uploaded, but safe to say it passed with the support of at least 24 members of the Democratic caucus. (Rand Paul probably voted nay and Steve Daines has been absent).

the “you should love ai” line is best outlined by a recent joe rogan episode. he LOVES ai music and always tells guests this. a guest pushed back on him saying “i’ve heard ai podcasts are amazing too” and joe rogan immediately pushes back. losers love it until it comes for them

I think the most illustrative example of why AI is so terrible are those fake animal videos. Sure, let's drain the fucking oceans to create videos of animals being funny, something you can easily experience by being near any given animal for 5 seconds

It looks as though the🔥Heat Miser🔥has taken over the latest outlook for Christmas week (Dec 23-29)! There is a high probability of warmer-than-normal temperatures for most of the US. Alaska, the Pacific Northwest, and New England have a better chance of seeing "classic" Christmas weather.
