Dracula is not actually in this film it's still a good time though. I guess that was just marketing it's hard to say the brides of a specific vampire that you don't know.

And I don’t mean to say there’s no room for stories about Dracula as a tragic figure but by the time you get to his attempted invasion of London, he’s shown feeding a baby to his brides and sic’ing wolves on the infants rage & grief stricken mother, among other monstrous acts.

#FoundInDraculasCastle? Honey, wait until you find what he's been hiding in the closet! The Brides of Dracula? More like beards!

#Critterary

I haven’t done mermaids yet. I expect they’ll show up in my “Bedeviled by Fairy Tail” WIP.

I love having siren-like creatures encountering gay men.

One of the only funny parts of my Dracula x Renfield book is him being worried the brides will get sick from the cold.

Day 14
Slower day yesterday, understandably with a couple events taking place on here!
Today we're staying in the seas (and other bodies of water) a while longer, to discuss aquatic creatures! Time to dip our toes into fantastic wonders and dark oceans.

No shade on his nominated roles, but this year, we needed his Van Helsing energy most of all.

Home alone- I don't see the appeal. 1.5⭐
Brides of Dracula- not enough brides, not enough Dracula. Also it was boring. 1.5⭐
Silent Night, Deadly Night- fun, but petered out towards the end. 2⭐
Christmas Evil- unironically decent. 2.75⭐

Just watched Under the Silver Lake, which inspires the prompt: what are some of your favorite songs by fake bands? "Turning Teeth" by Jesus and the Brides of Dracula has actually been on my playlist for a couple of years even though I hadn't seen the movie.
