I know statistics are poorly understood and are misused. But facts matter

Between the 1991, 2001, 2011 and 2021 Census *every* ethnic group in the UK has become *less* geographically segregated and *all* groups, majority and minorities, are more likely to interact with people not like them

Hadn't realised lots of trusts were no longer prescribing gluten-free food for coeliac kids.

My son is coeliac and his food is so much more expensive. We don't get on prescription because we can afford it but for a family in poverty that's a massive issue.

Home Secretary tells Sky News that “there is a gap in the law” when it comes to frequent, repeated protests on the same issue. Hence she will be giving police greater powers to move them to another location or time.

The British government is Very Sensible and so can be trusted with the power to decide which protests have happened Enough Now and don't need to be heard from anymore thank you very much. It will be fine. When Reform get in they will be even more Sensible about all this.

This should concern everyone.

Protest is a cornerstone of our democracy - without it, we wouldn’t have the right to vote. We must protect it at all costs.

After years of the Tories attacking our right to protest, this Labour government should strengthen our rights, not restrict them even further.

I am shocked and appalled by the arson attack on a mosque in Peacehaven, where two people were inside.

No community should be terrorised for their faith or in their place of worship.

At a time when Islamophobia hits record levels, we need urgent action from the top of government to confront it.

This case -– perhaps the most important ever to fall within the jurisdiction of this district court –- squarely presents the issue whether non-citizens lawfully present here in United States actually have the same free speech rights as the rest of us. The Court answers this Constitutional question unequivocally “yes, they do.” “No law” means “no law.” The First Amendment does not draw President Trump’s invidious distinction and it is not to be found in our history or jurisprudence. See Section III.A infra. No one’s freedom of speech is unlimited, of course, but these limits are the same for both citizens and non-citizens alike.
