this feels completely banal? yes, a big tent political party is going to include voters who have bigoted views. i don’t think anyone has argued otherwise? the actual question at hand is “to what extent should a political party ostensibly committed to equality appeal to popular prejudices?”

When someone claims that they are 'adept at using LLMs' and 'know how to avoid the pitfalls', that's a self-reported claim from a person repeatedly exposing themselves to the chatbot. If their confidence in their ability to 'use it correctly' isn't delusional already, it probably will be eventually.

the real victim of these trying times is Mr. Cool Ice

man who has several large tattoos of Achewoodesque skulls in sunglasses accompanied by the phrase “Mr. Cool Ice” in an aggressively sans serif font. Unfortunately he has “ICE” written in large letters on his wrists. he has sunglasses tattooed on the back of his head. I can not overstate that he essentially has the same thing tattooed all over himself in like six different places

An even happier Mr Cool Ice a few years or so later. In a New York black shirt with white pin striping, he now has ear plugs and a happy skull and crossbones wearing shades. His forehead is adorned by a row of three skulls, with a letter on each scalp spelling I C E. It can’t be overemphasized how happy, brilliant and posi he looks here. I still probably wouldn’t vote for him but this picture cheers me on dim days.

The famous Mr Cool Ice with a megawatt smile and even more Mr Cool Ice tattoos on his arms and neck. He also added some three dimensional shading to Mr Cool Ice across the top of his chest.

A conspiracy theory I have is that people put hot sauces like Tabasco on everything not so much for the pepper as they do for the benefits of adding vinegar to a dish and that’s what they should be focusing on and recognizing. This conspiracy theory has not gotten traction due to “lack of interest”

the 80s had a high density of celebrities whose authenticity was hard to figure out, as a kid. like, was Mr. T a real guy? he was like that in shows/movies but also in interviews? or pee wee, elvira, max headroom, various wrestlers. even alf was on celebrity squares. it was a confusing time.
