This is it.
I would like to be wrong abt this. I would like for white conservatism to accept dissent & respect the rights & ideas of others. I would love to live in an actual democracy. Until we actually address the problem of chronic right wing lawlessness, however, all the rest is just wishful thinking.

This is why primarying people matters. Suddenly everybody involved in this race is in a firm spine contest.
GOLDMAN: Do you know what other regimes in the 20th century required similar proof of citizenship?

LYONS: Various nefarious regimes did that

GOLDMAN: Is Nazi Germany one?

Circle back to this one. It’s still a crime for an agency head to lie to Congress, last I checked.
Asked about the Maine ICE agent who told a protester that her info would be entered into a "nice little database," Lyons said there is no such database.

"There is no database that’s tracking U.S. citizens."

For the curious: I spoke with @revdrmichaelwoolf.bsky.social (the pastor in this photograph) right after he got out of jail following his arrest back in November.

Well then play it. Play it again and again until there’s an answer. Make them answer for sending Nazi death troops to wage a war of terror against the U.S. civilian population.
THANEDAR: What did your ICE agent mean when he said, 'you raise your voice, I erase your voice' in the video all of us have seen?

LYONS: I'm not aware of that video. I can't comment

Thune’s plan has been obvious - drag this out as long as possible to put distance between the Pretti/Good murders and the final vote on DHS funding, hoping that the American public moves on. Senate Dems will never have more leverage for ICE reforms than they do right now.

The Wall Street Journal just illustrated the core argument of my book: a system rigged to reward capital over labor is one in which even full-time work no longer secures the most basic material needs.

This is the economic order that produces the "working homeless."

Not that it is the same or that it would play out the same, but had the state certs not been grabbed before the rioters entered and had Pence and Raffensperger and about four other people acted differently... Was that closer to overturning an election than you thought possible?

I'm trying to understand the apparent complacency of lots of folks about what Trump can/can't do in re: the 2026 election, when he is doing things like this every day that are so illegal the only remedy for them is impeachment & removal, which we know isn't going to happen.
