Description: WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is warning consumers to immediately stop using lithium-ion batteries for Rad Power Bikes e-bikes, model numbers RP-1304 and HL-RP-S1304, because the batteries pose a risk of serious injury and death. Given its financial situation, Rad Power Bikes has indicated to CPSC that it is unable to offer replacement batteries or refunds to all consumers. The batteries were sold with the following Rad Power Bikes e-bike models and as replacement batteries: RadWagon 4, RadCity HS 4, RadRover High Step 5, RadCity Step Thru 3, RadRover Step Thru 1, RadRunner 2, RadRunner 1, RadRunner Plus, and RadExpand 5. You absolutely need to change this headline. It's unacceptable and disrespectful to the people harmed by the pollution.

This article itself makes it clear that the water pollution linked to cancer and miscarriages is coming entirely from nitrate pollution from farms.

The military has a duty to refuse unlawful orders, but Congress has a duty to remove from office a president and secretary who would issue such orders. There is something off about members of Congress talking about the former while refusing to say the latter, the part that's actually their job here.

Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.

The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

Sullivan already scrambling to rehab his healthcare stance ahead of the 2026 elections. He didn't lift a finger to defend subsidies when it mattered but he'll flail around just enough to create the illusion of action. Soccer flop policy.

When it comes to proposed reforms, Sullivan did not name any policies that would aim to curtail the power of insurance companies. Nor did he name any policies that could be used to incentivize greater competition in the Alaska insurance market. The proposed policies that Sullivan listed include tightening income requirements for accessing tax credits; requiring that all insurance enrollees pay a monthly premium (currently, enrollees below a certain income threshold pay nothing in premiums); and banning undocumented migrants from using the Affordable Care Act plans, which is already outlawed.

Comey, Jr. with making false statements to Congress and obstructing a congressional proceeding. Mr. Comey now moves to dismiss the indictment on the ground that Ms. Halligan, the sole prosecutor who presented the case to the grand jury, was unlawfully appointed in violation of 28 U.S.C. § 546 and the Constitution’s Appointments Clause. As explained below, I agree with Mr. Comey that the Attorney General’s attempt to install Ms. Halligan as Interim U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia was invalid. And because Ms. Halligan had no lawful authority to present the indictment, I will grant Mr. Comey’s motion and dismiss the indictment without prejudice.

One of many prints I made in the weekend long cyanotype print class at UAF. This was made from a digital transparency. Then washed in a borax bath for 2 minutes. Really happy with how it came out. Print isn’t quite as yellow as this photo shows.
