AI companies are spending billions on deals with each other, which boost their value.

This has helped twenty billionaires tied to AI add $450B to their fortunes in 2025.

Meanwhile, an MIT study found that 95% of companies using AI haven't seen returns on investment.

Be warned.

Virginia is in the thick of a gubernatorial election season that the Democratic candidate looks likely to win. We'll see how that goes in November. Everybody else on this list of states gets targeted for #Boycott.

The AG’s of AK, AL, AR, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA, KS, LA, MS, MO, MT, NE, ND, OH, OK, SC, TN, TX, VA, WV, and WY ALL think Trump should be allowed to deploy the military in a state against the Governor’s wishes.

Let that sink in.

ICE will reportedly hire contractors to surveil social media platforms 24/7 to target people for deportations.

The information would then be funneled into an existing ICE database built by Palantir (founded by Trump ally Peter Thiel).

I don’t want to blue-state-splain to people who are stuck with terrible elected officials and are doing their best already. Who am I to talk? Through blind luck, I live in Jamie Raskin’s district. I still think boycotts are among the few tools that might help the broader situation, though.
sarahavery.bsky.social
Yes, that’s him all over. His staff, who have to field constituent calls and emails may be less so, or might manage him differently depending on how they read the room. And you can deplete his resources to some extent by making his staff spend time dealing with organized constituent opposition.

To contact iHeartRadio about your participation in the #TexasBoycott, the only way I found to get feedback to them was to go to their Help page (help.iheart.com/hc/en-us) and pester the chatbot about letting me speak to a live human until it spat up an email webform. Good hunting!

@danibananica.bsky.social @anymouse.bsky.social As residents in those states, you can exert pressure directly on your elected officials. The electeds in aggressor states don't have to care what outsiders think. The boycott is one of the few available tools from outside.

More states get into the game, possibly to make the pool of malefactors too big to boycott. They've underestimated us. To start with, #BoycottTexas, using the circulating list of Texas corporations. The next post in the thread I've quote-posted lists all the states signing onto this amicus brief.

This is getting wild.

The states of Iowa, Montana, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and 14 others have just asked for permission to file THEIR amicus brief in IL v. Trump.
The States of Iowa, Montana, Oklahoma, South Carolina and 14 additional States
respectfully move for leave to submit the attached amicus curiae brief in support of Defendants
and their opposition to Plaintiffs’ requested temporary restraining order and preliminary
injunction. Proposed amici are States with a vested interest in federalism, the relationship between
States and the federal government, and deploying the National Guard. We also each have a vital
interest in supporting the President and Congress in enacting and enforcing valid immigration
laws. Every State has a responsibility to protect our citizens.
The federalization of States’ National Guard units is a matter of profound public
importance, as it directly implicates the delicate balance of power between state and federal
governments—a true cornerstone of Federalism. States generally maintain authority over their
National Guard units, allowing governors to deploy them for state-specific needs, such as disaster
response or public safety. Federalization of state National Guard units without gubernatorial

Texas has sent their National Guard to attack Chicago. There is no excuse for trying to start a civil war. There is one thing for us to do, we must boycott Texas. Do not travel there, do not buy Texas products especially beef.

Because the Holocaust was very profitable for the Nazis that way and I’m just wondering if anyone in media is following the money — albeit it is moving so quickly.

💯. At the very least, if a criminal calls you or you call a criminal in the middle of his execution of a criminal conspiracy, you should expect that those conversations may be a subject of inquiry.

I've spent the last hour calling, emailing, and messaging the corps in this thread that would be affected by my personal boycott. They try to claim they have nothing to do with politics, but corps have lobbyists, and lobbyists talk to elected officials. This is what their lobbyists are for.

First response to Texas mobilizing their National Guard for occupation of blue states is to boycott companies based in Texas. Long list but start with

American Airlines
AT&T
Container Store
Dave & Buster’s
Dell
Dr Pepper Snapper
Exxon Mobil
FedEx Office
Frito Lay
I Heart Media
JC Penney

@exxonmobiloil.bsky.social Texas-based businesses are about to be hit with massive boycotts if the Texas National Guard invades other any states. If that's not conducive to your business plan, you might want to have a word with Governor Abbott. The boycott lists are already circulating online.

Let’s keep in mind Trump said he’s taking the war to the enemy within using US military. That means any protesters and pretty much all democrats or independents who voted against him. In fact voting against him could be considered an attempt to overthrow the current government.
