If you want to learn about how figure skating works via the medium of incredibly charming gay anime, may I STRONGLY suggest "Yuri on Ice" (which is available free on Youtube)?

My book display about LGBT+ history, and how LGBT+ history has historically been censored, got censored.
I'm a conflict-averse people-pleasing doormat who can spiral into anxiety if I feel like I've stepped on anyone's toes.

But this. This has severely pissed me off.

Facebook plans to put facial recognition in its glasses and they think we’re too stupid to fight back.

Their internal memo: “We will launch during a dynamic political environment where many civil society groups that we would expect to attack us would have their resources focused on other concerns.”

One of the most fascinating aspects of the America Crisis is how under Trump much of the US Homeland security apparatus seems to understand places like Minnesota or Maine as little as the US National security apparatus under Bush understood places like Anbar or Herat
Inexperienced and delusional rookies at the helm... check. Comically bad misreading of local politics... check. Trying to correct with "a surge" that makes things worse... check.

The interesting thing about ICE and CBP blatant lies is that it has normie people questioning what other law enforcement lies like this on the regular.

It has shattered a lot of the deference people had.

FDA's decision not to accept Moderna's flu vaccine filing has sent shock waves through pharma. "When there’s uncertainty about the path to approval & the reliability of the process, that really has pretty serious consequences,” one player told @jasonmast.bsky.social. www.statnews.com/2026/02/12/f...
FDA’s rejection of Moderna threatens to stifle broader vaccine industry
Experts say the FDA "moved the goalposts" on Moderna, creating "a destructive precedent that will undermine the future of vaccine development" in the U.S.

Good lord, the task ahead of Labour thanks to Starmer’s destruction of the party is SO huge, and I don’t think they’re equal to it.
Fletton & Woodston (Peterborough) Council By-Election Result:

➡️ RFM: 29.4% (New)
🌍 GRN: 27.6% (+16.2)
🌳 CON: 21.8% (-11.8)
🌹 LAB: 16.8% (-31.2)
🔶 LDM: 4.4% (-0.7)

No TUSC (-1.9) as previous.

Reform GAIN from Labour.
Changes w/ 2024.
