This is, i think, the funniest thing about all this. For all the reasons that our constitutional order is bad for an actually functioning country in the 21st century, the failure point wasn't actually one of those. It was *the* biggest thing that the framers had in mind that they had to stop

I’m from the south, and am/was surrounded by evangelicals. I grew up catholic and attended a catholic school.

I brought some “evolution is fake” talking point to my 8th grade science class. My teacher got the priest to come visit and explain why that was wrong and why the church believed evolution

To the extent that art can even be defined, i believe in a maximal definition of it. If something was created with intention, effort, and purpose, it is art. It might be bad or useless art, but it is art

So yes, video games are art. But most of them aren't really worth engaging with on a deep level
